Lake Juttern
is located in the southern part of Kinda. It is excellent for pikeperch trolling.
For many years the lake was known to deliver the bigges pikeperch in Sweden. Unfortunately the population of big pikeperch has diminished, while the smaller pikeperch, 1-3 kilos, still is plentiful och should be of interest to those who wants pikeperch on the dinner table.
Since the lake is steep and deep, trolling is the most suitable fishing technique. Use 10-15 cm wobbler, preferably fished with paravanes.
Many people assume that pike perch fishing is equivalent to night fishing. This is not the case. The best time for fishing in Lake Juttern is between 3 pm and 11 pm.
You´ll also find lots of pike in the lake, so it is a good idea to use wire-snell if you don´t want to lose too much of your equipment.
